Meet: Jack Harris
It is time for our third "Meet the Team" post!
This will be covering Jack Harris, our Head of Picking and one of our key warehouse staff members.
Q: How long have you worked with Term Tech?
A: I joined the company as a warehouse operative back in May 2018.
Q: How long have you worked within the industry?
A: My role at Termination Technology is my first role in the electrical and construction industry.
Q: What is your role within Term Tech?
A: I oversee the distribution of orders amongst the picking team - I’m responsible for picking up on anything not quite right with orders such as quantities, method of transport etc.
Q: What is one thing you like about being a part of Term Tech?
A: I could write so much on this one section but I love my job here at TermTech. The people I work with in the stores are lovely and I’d say I get on with every one of them. If one of us needs a hand with anything, from needing a forklift driver to grab stock, to help covering holiday or sickness, we come together and make sure we do everything we can to help each other out.
Q: Outside of work, what is a fun fact or hobby about yourself?
A: Bear with me, we’re nearly at the end! The problem with me and hobbies is that I get bored and dip in and out of them quite a bit… I like playing darts and I’m hoping to have a board up at home soon which should help me improve and hopefully I’ll get my first 180!!!
I used to work out but I’ve slowly lost interest and now only do it a couple times a week. I love watching football and playing Fifa on the Xbox. I’m also slowly starting to become a fan of the Bristol Bears and have been a getting into cricket over the last few years.
